Enrol once to create your CAAM record and begin working through the Certificate in Applied Association Management pathway at your own pace.
You only need to enrol in CAAM once.
CAAM enrolment is separate from registering for individual Learning Circles. Once enrolled, you can choose and register for Learning Circles as they are scheduled throughout the year.
Your CAAM pathway
To earn your Certificate in Applied Association Management, you will complete:
1. Five Core Learning Circles
Complete one Learning Circle from each of the five Association Management Practice Areas:
- Member Engagement
- Digital Tools & Technology
- Engagement, Events & Experience
- Finance, Risk & Operations
- Leadership & Strategy
2. Three Learning Circles of Your Choice
Complete three additional Learning Circles from any of the five practice areas.
Choose the sessions that are most relevant to your role, your organisation and your professional development.
3. Membership Essentials
Complete the NZSAE Membership Essentials online course at your own pace.
4. CAAM Assessment
Complete the CAAM Assessment to demonstrate your understanding and practical application of association management.
5. Earn your CAAM
Once all requirements have been completed, you will receive your Certificate in Applied Association Management (CAAM) and digital credential.
What does CAAM cost?
For NZSAE members, there is no separate cost to enrol in CAAM, attend the required Learning Circles or complete the CAAM Assessment.
The only additional cost is the Membership Essentials online course, which is $129 including GST.
For NZSAE members:
Learning Circles + CAAM enrolment + Assessment = included with your membership
Membership Essentials = $129 including GST
Non-members are also welcome to work towards CAAM. A small registration fee applies when attending individual NZSAE Learning Circles.
What happens when you enrol?
Once you complete this enrolment:
- your CAAM record will be created
- you will receive confirmation that you are enrolled in the pathway
- you can begin registering for the Learning Circles you need
- you will be able to record and track your Learning Circle progress
- we will provide information about Membership Essentials and the CAAM Assessment as you progress
You do not need to complete CAAM in one year. Work through the pathway at a pace that suits you and take advantage of Learning Circles as relevant topics are offered.
Already attended NZSAE Learning Circles?
If you have previously attended NZSAE Learning Circles that may contribute towards your CAAM requirements, tell us when you enrol so these can be checked against your record.
Important
Enrolling in CAAM does not automatically register you for Learning Circles.
Learning Circles remain open to the wider NZSAE community and are registered for separately.
Once you have enrolled in CAAM, simply select the Learning Circles you want to attend and register for each session in the usual way.
