Join a purpose-driven organisation supporting rural New Zealand
About the role
Rural Women New Zealand (RWNZ) has been strengthening, supporting and connecting rural people and communities for almost 100 years. As Membership Advisor, you'll play an important role in ensuring members feel connected, informed and valued.
Working closely with the Membership Manager and wider team, you'll be the first point of contact for member enquiries, maintain membership information, coordinate key programmes and events, and help deliver an outstanding membership experience.
While member engagement sits at the heart of the role, there is also the opportunity to take ownership, improve systems and processes, and contribute ideas that enhance the member experience and the effectiveness of the membership function.
What we’re looking for
Success in this role is about more than formal qualifications. RWNZ is looking for someone who brings the right mindset, takes ownership, enjoys solving problems and is motivated to make a positive difference.
Practical experience, transferable skills and a demonstrated ability to make things happen will be valued, along with:
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take initiative
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Experience using CRM systems and confidence in learning new technologies
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
Relevant experience in administration, membership services, customer service or business support will be an advantage, but equally important is the ability to think critically, work independently and contribute positively as part of a collaborative team.
Why join Rural Women New Zealand?
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where initiative is valued and ideas are welcomed. You'll enjoy a varied role with the opportunity to build strong relationships, make a meaningful contribution to members across New Zealand, and play a part in supporting thriving rural communities.
